I am a GP working from Dingwall Health Centre in the Highlands of Scotland. I have worked for NHS Highland on mental health issues, in particular depression and am involved in the Royal College of GPs lin the Highlands and in Scotland. I have been a trainer and GP educator for many years.

I would like to use this blog to record some of my ideas and hope they will also be useful for the purposes of Appraisal and Revalidation! Writing does not come easily to me, I struggle with spelling and grammar and my hand writting lives up (exceeds?) the doctor stereotype!
